Car  RB Clio 182
Hiya i'm Dan, some people will remember me and my RB 182. I've been on here years but haven't been using my clio much in the last three years so haven't really been about. As i moved house and didn't have anywhere to park my clio it has been at my mom and dads! Now i have space at mine on the drive it will be brought back to life! I always used BTM and when fred left i used dan down in glastonbury, Dan was spot on it's just a long way to go! Are there any places up this way people recommend as it's time for the belts again and a few other bits! Thanks in advance and i'm sure i will see some of you soon. Cerrone
 
@MicKPM at Diamond Motors Nottingham is well worth the 70 miles or so trip, especially if the car has been sat so long I'm sure he can offer advice on what needs to be done. Welcome back to the club!
 
I have been thinking about mick i will give him a call. The car has been used in the three years but very little! Cheers, hopefully she will be ready for a couple of meets this summer!

sadly i've let the car down abit over the last year and as some of the lads who have been on here a while and have met me will know i'm slightly ocd about cleaning! She currently is more green than blue. Should be sorted in time for the festival.

Regarding garages, Sean Edwards Renault Specialist is based in Solihull. He took care of my car when the clutch release bearing decided to crap itself and I couldn't fault the service.
 
Just booked the clio in with Mick for some work on the 2nd August. Already feel excited to get her back on the road!

I will be driving from Droitwich but after calling him up today and having a chat i feel more than confident leaving the clio with him!
 
Can never bring myself to sell
it! Looking forward to getting back into the clio again!

I have never seen it dirty so it must of killed you to see it after being stood for so long.

Yes mate still got the same 182. I don't drive it as much as I'd like due to have an Ecoboost fiesta as a daily.
I'll be at CSF this year if you are up for coming?
 
yes hopefully i will be there on the Sunday mate. Looking forward to getting some driving done in the clio! I'm 100% up for trax this year would be good to get a few of us going as it's not far.

CSF is on the Saturday mate. Everyone packs up and heads off home with a hangover on Sunday morning.

I've just read about csf i thought it was camping on the saturday night.... clearly i was wrong! I think i will go down on the friday night

There's camping on Friday and Saturday night mate. The track time and main event is Saturday daytime and the live band, food and booze up is Saturday evening :up:

I know i have really found it so hard just looking at it but it's now is the right time and it is getting a lot of TLC 4 new tyres tomorrow MOT friday then a full detail over the next few weeks and up to mick on the 2nd she will come back stronger! I got her started up tonight for the first time in 18months! Put a massive smile on my face and got me very excited to have her back!

I just have my company van and my own astra van
nothing fun! yes i think i will put a thread up for the clean! camera skills really isn't my thing tho! Iv got a new bonnet to go on as mine is in such a mess!
