Air Con Issues (typical during the summer!!)

When I turn on my Air Con ( Clio 182) the switch lights up but the air con doesnt turn on, I cant even hear the compressor kicking in.
Ive recently replaced the heating resistor as the fan wasnt working,and i was just wondering if the heating resistor has anything to do with the air con, maybe i havent fitted it properly?

Failing that, anyone any other suggestions?

Nope. Chance are you've got a leak. If theres no pressure in the system (3 bar iirc) then the compressor wont cut in.

I take it the fan works now just no cold air?

Yeah the fan works fine now mate, i get hot air when climate c temp high and cold when its turned low just no air con cold air
