Air con not working.

Clio 182. Air con was drained and re gassed last year but can't remember if it's worked since then.
Only recently paid any attention to it not creating cold air...
Anyway it seems that she you press the ac button there is no distinctive click or change in engine rpm etc.
Have checked the fuses in the passenger compartment but they're all fine
Looked in engine bay but don't know which relay is the ac one or how to test
Can anyone help please?

The AC pump won't clutch in if the pressure sensor doesn't detect pressure.

Id say you have a ac leak and the system is low on gas.

A diagnostic check can confirm if it has the correct pressure too.

Mine has a leak to. Held pressure when it was gassed but has since died. Interested to know if it is possible to diy find a leak and how you do it

Ok. Thanks for the info. I'll go to kwik fit see if they will check it before a refill

Normally if a leak is suspected leak detector dye is added that shows under ultraviolet light .
