Anyone had a issue with the air con in the 182 - I had mine re gassed a year ago, but it seems to want to sometimes pump out hot air ??? then i'll turn it off and then the next day it'll work as normal.

Haha. Funny you say this.

Went to have mine gasses the other day. Pulled up to my mates, switched it too cold and waited before knocking the car off to let the cold air through. Wouldn't do it. Would not turn too cold what so ever.

Anyway he gassed as good as he could but couldn't check the temp. Go home, shower then back out a hour later and it blows cold straight away. Wtf. First time it's ever happened and that was a month ago.

Its happened quite often I guess?

I got told this.

As to your fault it sounds as if the mixer motor which controls the hot and cold flap is not doing its job. If you look just above your clutch pedal to the left you will see the heater box. On the side of the box you shall see a little motor screwed onto it. Pop that motor off and operate it using your heater controls (hot to cold) it should spin. The problem is (or what ive seen a few times now) where the motor slots in into the heater box it just spins as the plastic has widend/broken (on the box) The way ive fixed them is to slot the motor back in and and secure it to the heater box with a small jubille clip or zip tie so it clamps the two together. Worked everytime for me.
