Air Filter or Induction Kit

Hi, I've just been reading benji&eka link and it's set me of thinking about getting either.

I'm not expert when it comes to this stuff, but to start me off with modding I'd like to give one a try. What sort of gain would I get from these product? what would you recommend? would these need to be declared for insurance purposes?

I would recomend just up rating you panel filter Rick, the K&n will give u a really good noise from the engine but if its gains you are after i would stick with the panel filter.. IMO i would get a ITG panel filter wont get the noise from an open IK but u will notice some gains....not alot thou

Agree with the above

If you're not going for big power or remapping the ecu then probably better off just replacing the filter element

which panel filter do i get for my 1.2 16v dynamic 51 reg and is there any bits of shitty plastic in the box which will be restricting it a lil bit more?

I was planning on getting a remap done near the end of Feb, so would a filter ad more gain once remapped?

if your gettign a remap..

spend the IK money on a manifold match from gdi/awt..

will see A HELL of a lot more gains than a gash viper or whatever.
