Air filters

are the pannel filters anygood ?
like the K&N, green, pipercross, pannel filters or would a induction kit be better, K-tec racing have some good prices on there filters at the moment
Shorty

Was only about £30. Not going to give mega power gains (if any!) but Ive always prefered the freer flowing replacement panels to the paper ones. The revs just seem to pick up better. Dunno really, just subjectively more "driveable". Cant do any harm anyway!

I fitted the Green replacement filter on Saturday as K&N still do not do one for 2001 onwards 172 / Cup.

Has made a difference:-

1) Pulling away feels a little more controlled.

2) Mid range feels like it has a little more torque

3) 5000Rpm + pulls a little better and has more of an angry growl to it

LOL at ben and paddy, im wondering if shorty is schitzo? one day raving nutter talking crap the next a perfectly reasonable human being
