Airbag and serv light on.

Ive had the airbag and serv light coming on intermittently for a while. Alleays thought that it was the plugs under the seats. Im now selling the car anlot dying to turn off some of the lights that are on my dashboard : )

Ive just had it on a diagnostics machine and it's popping up with this code? "71 front airbag circuit 2, driver open circuit

Anyone know what this code could mean? I have hard wired the wires under the seats.

Yep to do with the wires under the seat bad connection, you may need to solder the wires together

Just give the wires under the passenger seat a bit of a wiggle and that should sort it

It's 100% NOT the seats. I don't know what that code is but the description "drivers airbag circuit 2" is to do with the steering wheel airbag which is showing an open circuit. Most likely cause is the clock-ring or squib having a damaged track so replace it and the problem will go away.
