Airbag fault, Yorkshire

  Clio 172
Hi, I’ve got a Clio 172, airbag light has been on since i bought it, had thought of track car initially but I like it on the road, anyway mot due soon, had it scanned with snap on kit basically said every airbag was in fault, seat wiring has had the soldered mod in the past to a good standard. Removed airbag ecu, obvious signs of spilt drink in plug, I sourced and fitted a used airbag ecu from a non crashed 172 and the light is still on.

Is there anyone in Yorkshire that has software to properly interrogate this fault? a way to clear it or remove a problem airbag? Any advice on what to do or where to take it would be much appreciated. Local garages didn’t want to know when I asked.

Thanks

You probably need someone with the proper Renault CLiP to get all the info, but if you come down Newark way, I'd be happy to plug my RSTuner in, I've got the airbag module so can see the proper fault codes and change the config etc. Can't promise it would fix it though.
