Right guys heres the problem...
My passenger side airbag has gone off. Wont go into details why.
Renault have said worst case scenario which it probably will be.
I will need to replace the seat £400+, airbag £200+, Airbag computer £300ish, pretensioners £75 each and a sensor. these are prices before VAT too. Basically all in with labour it will cost £1500ish
I have decided to get bucket seats with a harness so no fork out for the seats and seatbelt pretensioners or the side airbag.
I will still need an airbag computer.
So from this I have 3 questions:
1. Can the airbag computer be reset and how do I do it. Renault say it cant but I've heard ppl say before that it can be done.
2. How do I go about removing the side airbags. Obviously the computer will say that they are missing can it be reset to not include them or can it be tricked into thinking they are still there.
3. Where can I get some bucket seats at a bargain price.
