Those look exactly like the ones Volantech supplied to be honestI used these, more expensive but thicker shaft so a snug fit. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Airbag-b...p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
Yeah they sent me that too, seems an absolute bodge to me. Surely for the cost of their resistors they should just have thicker pins.I contacted Volantech about this same issue previously and they gave me the attached which worked for me.
Hope this helps!View attachment 1577667
I would do but want to be able to back to standard for anal MOTers, living where I do I'm not blessed with a huge choice without long journeysJust clip the bags out, much easier and more reliable
Get the airbag module for your RS tuner Dom, think you can turn them off with thatAh good point @Brigsy just that I don't have clip![]()
Bloody good point Russ!Get the airbag module for your RS tuner Dom, think you can turn them off with that
Then I can drive up and you can code out mine when I fit a new wheelBloody good point Russ!
A big pothole, not been on since! Seriously, although I don't use it enough to know if it's solved longterm. Volantech suggest taping the resistor at an angle which seems a bodge as they just need thicker terminals.@DomP182 what did you use to sort the airbag light in the end mate? I’ll be in this exact situation next week
Cheers James…but we are very South! and Dom is basically a different countryIf either of you were up around here near me, i'd code the light out for you.
