Airbag + Serv light.. is wrecking my head!!!! Help!!

Ok the story so far...

Diag computer at local garage says 'drivers side airbag short circuit' or somthing very similar.

First things first, the pretensioner and airbag cables under both seats have been replaced with connector blocks so normal plugs are out. Both pretensioners and airbags read 2.8ohms under the seat and at the ecu plug

steering wheel airbags read 0.5ohms at wheel and ecu

i have tried using 3.7ohm resistors on steering wheel airbag and under seats. all test as 3.7 back at the ecu plug.

i am assuming that as i get a reading of 3.7 back at the ecu plug that cables are fine and no short circuit is happening?? is this sound logic?

seatbelt tensioners havent fired. never been bumped. sunroof leaks.

my last resort was a replacement ecu off ebay but to my dismay the light remains!!!

I have run out of things to try so I would be greatful of any more suggestions

Thought the airbag resistors were 3.3 ohms. That's what I've used and it's fine. The resistors needs to be pushed in quite a way to make decent contact.

Sort circuit could be the squib.

Are you connecting the correct 2 of the 3 terminals of the airbag connector with the resistor?
