Airbag wiring - Have I done this right?

  2003 Clio Billabong
Hi all,

I have an airbag warning light I'm trying to turn off. I've tried to follow James28's wiring guide here:

I am in this situation, after removing connectors and testing 3.3 ohm resistor placement:

Driver side: Red/black connector removed. Bypassed orange to browny pink.
Passenger side: Red/black connector removed. Bypassed cream to browny-pink.
(The heat-shrink tubing shown in top right already existed).

I still have the airbag warning light. (When I turn on ignition it appears, goes away, then comes back).

Error code reader does not show anything. (Possibly as codes would be in airbag ECU not main ECU?)
My sunroof leaks and water pools in footwells. I've dried it out and WD40'd the connectors. I've never had a crash/air-bag deploy.

What could the fault be?
Ianboom mentions here that his side-impact sensor may have been effected by sun-roof-leak:

In my case however the leak is mostly on the driver's side.

Shall I give up and take this to a dealer and pay $$$?
