Aircon/Heater wont blow air on foot setting

Hello i have just recently bought a 2002 172 clio.

I've noticed that the air conditioning and the heating work well when set to the face setting or the windscreen setting, but when set to the foot setting no air comes out.

I have tried to do a search but havn't seemed to fine anything to resolve this problem.

Check to see if the tubes that go to the footwell haven't been kicked off, and that the linkage is still connected.

Upside down in the footwell job I'm afraid.

Would you happen to have any photos of what im meant to be looking at?. Im new to clios haha.

I hate those upside down jobs! just had to fix the air con as it was only blowing out hot air which was one of those jobs.

Ah, so you don't know if it was doing it before or not. You might have disturbed something whilst you were down there.

Easier with some help, they can turn the knob from screen to floor whilst you see what is or isn't happening. Sounds like the directional flap to me.

Feel for a bit of flexi hose wobbling around. It should be connect about where the glove box (well that kind of area)
