I need some advice about my alarm, it’s making a VERY high pitch squeal.
The other day I was cleaning my engine and I must have got water in my alarm siren.
You can turn the car on and off while the sound it going off so it hasn’t affected the immobiliser.
If you try using the key fob it will lock the car but the alarm is still going off.
What are my options?
Shall I just try and dry the siren out with a hairdryer or do you think I have done some damage?!?
Any help or advice would be very much appreciated as my car is for sale at the minute.
