Clio 172 cup

My clio 172 cup mk2 has developed a rather annoying fault today
Everytime i lock the car and then come back to it and unlock it, as soon as i open any of the doors the alarm goes off.
Initially i tried locking it and waiting again for 5-10 minutes as this got me in with the alarm giving 3 beeps when i unlocked it and managed to drive home with it. Since then i have locked it and tried to get back in but the alarm sets off no matter how long i leave it.
The alarm doesnt go off when i lock the car and leave it. it only goes off when i unlock it and open a door.
Has this occured to anyone else and what can i do despite take it to renault who will no doubt charge a fair sum.
