Alcantara Gear Gaiter ?

Long shot, but can anybody recommend where I can get a gear gaiter done for my 182 in Alcantara?

Already been in touch with @Austin-182 but he no longer does this anymore, as I already asked him seeing as I have a few other Alcantara parts in my car already that were done by him.

Would be happy to send off my handbrake cover (done in alcantara) so that somewhere/someone could try and match the alcantara for a gear gaiter.

Any help much appreciated.

Royal Steering Wheels did mine when they were doing my steering wheel. Maybe worth a try.

Got a picture at all? I have already been in touch with Jack about having my steering wheel done actually.

Did you have to send your gaiter off to him?

I don't have a pic at the moment but I had to send my gaiter off to him. He kept my old one because it was no use to me, but he may still have it to use as a template. Worth asking him.

Did he not attach the gaitor to the bottom plastic bit or did you have to do it yourself - if so how do you do it ?staples?

I didn't send the plastic part to Royal, But I used a hot glue gun to attach the gaiter to the plastic bottom part. I didn't have a stapler. The glue gun worked a treat

This has given me an idea. Bought some faux alcantara off fleebay to do the a pillars and door plastics so might have a crack at a gaitor with the left overs..

Something popped into my head earlier today... I seem to remember that V6 Clio 255s came with alcantara gaiters as standard.

So happens that there is a black V6 255 which is currently being broken on eBay. So I sent the guy a message to see if the gear gaiter is still available and how much if so.

As to whether it would fit or not I am not entirely sure, though I'm sure it could be made to fit.

Anyway, almost fell off my chair when he responded with 'Yes £95' ?!!!!! Is he having a laugh or is it me?! Safe to say I won't be taking this route.

£95, wtf. I made a basic one using about £3 worth of fabric and some loctite all purpose glue. Looks ok imo.
