All in a days work!!!

Car  Was a 197
I offered a friend of mine a bit of a spit and shine on her Fiesta as it was looking quite swirly in places, but the spit wasn't good enough, so i go out the harccore shizzle.

Started with a wash with Chemical Guys Bug n Tar Remover which worked pretty well as expected got all the crap off so on to polishing with ye olde Menzerna 3.02 & PO85RD and a Riotary Polisher, finished with some Dodo Juice Blue Velvet

What i got in return is fed n watered for the day lol !!

Yeah it is a lamp lol. On the extension cable !!

Cheers pep, came out pretty well, was a bit concerned with some of the swirling but in te end that wasn't too much trouble for my products to sort out so i was generally happy with the results

3.02 on a Fiesta!!!!!

You only need 106 on a DA! Do you know how much clearcoat you removed?

Looks shiny

Only used on speed 1 and literally just resting on the paint with no pressure with not a lot of 3.02 on pad. it had never been polished or nothing since new so paint n lacquer would've been original thickness.

It could be the future in swirl spotting! Or not.

The 3.02 won't have broken down at 900RPM, but at least it won't have taken much off. Did you work the 85RD at speed?

Used the 85RD with a finishing pad!!! not a lot of speed on it maybe bumped it up a few 100 rpm.

On inspection under some superficial light, still a few swirls, but not very noticeable.
