Don't knock it till you've tried it!

G101 is my fave tbh mate. Much less expensive compared with Megs.

Daisy baby :)

Still think Megs APC is good though. G101?? Where can I get that from? I4? CYC?

G101, direct from Autosmart franchise! Ignore the middle men in this case.

Bear in mind 101 is a good bit stronger than APC.

Yeah needs well diluted but lasts longer and a lot more for your money!

Love using it on engine bays!

Lol Rich. I need some APC, but thinking I might just give this stuff a go :S

Is the daisy crap from any local super marche?

Kitchen supplies/bog roll crap... they seem to change the aisle's at mine every funking week! Maybe its a game? :) I like games :). But not ones that make me walk around the shop 3 times to find what im looking for.

Oh and on a side note I hate shopping in a store I dont go to much..say Ipswich...everything is in a different place and we spend a weekend looking for stuff :( Bad Tesco/Sainsbury's etc

What ratio do you guys dilute your supermarche products down to ? and its main uses? arches, wheels & lower panels ?

Cheers :)

LOL!! Love it! TBH it's probably the same s**t! Can't see the swissvax boys using it. OR maybe they do and just put another lable on it! ha!

Re. Above - E-mail Autosmart and get the contact details for your local rep! There will be one for sure.

I am in desperate need of some APC so may just pop in to Tesco's Today..... Safe enough to use on paintwork isn't it? Got a fair amount of grime around the Badges on the boot :(

Daisy is safe yeah.. just be carefull of the dilution rates. I went for a weaker one as I didnt know how strong it would be

Yeah I need to buy some more Spray Bottles I think for all the different products I have that need diluting

It's not acid! You could apply it neat and still not damage the paint! It's remove all the wax tho!

Yeah thought as much but just double checking...... Need to get one of those Brushes you used for your Bonnet Shuts etc. Ali, What brush was it again?

Ah that was it... Looks like very handy Brush to own.... Another for my Growing list again

Yeah it is very useful fella. It is great when dry to get rid of polishing dust in cracks as well. I must confess to owning two, one dry, one for liquids etc.

LOL @ the swissvax logo!

Brush was the Megz sidelock. Paintbrush would suffice.

I have a Couple of Cheap Detailing Brushes but they are quite Short Bristled and the Sidelock looks like a handy brush to have around.

As Ali has said, Andy, you might find that somewhere like B&Q will have something that is just as good. Think Halfrauds also sell the Megs brush.

I'll take a look around when I'm in the mood for Buying Car Cleaning Gear

Picked myself up some daisy while I was in Tesco's so will give it a whirl next time I clean the car :)

I stumbled upon this thread while searching for some detailing advice. I'm a bit of a relative novice when it comes to serious detailing. I've just stuck with Autoglym SRP all my motoring life.

With the nice weather coming up this week, I'm about to embark on a lengthy session minting the car up. I've just bought the Meguiars 3 stage solution jobby. Never used it before so going to give it a try.

Never, ever thought about using multi purpose cleaner on the car until I saw this thread. To be honest I wouldn't know what to use it on. Although, as already mentioned above, my grey seatbelts on my 182 are a right mess!
