RS Twingo 133
The rails on my passenger seat are bust so I had to take my passenger seat out today.... so I thought I'd take the back seats out too and see what difference it made to performance.
UN BELL EVE ABLE!
The car felt so much difference and just made me realise even more that I never want a heavier car. Weight makes so much difference to not only your power to weight but also how the car changes direction and brakes. Don't know how much all my seats weighed, but the front Recaro was surprisingly heavy. Oh and I obviously took out the Isofix bar etc. Then I must have hoovered another kilo of dust and crap out from under where the seats were.
In the picture you'll see where they have roughly welded in a patch to cover the 172 wheel well (bit shoddey if you ask me!).
The whole job took me about 40 minutes, maybe 50 including hoovering, but you have to try this just once in your owner experience.
It's scarily noisey too but the weirdest thing was when I went to reverse off the drive and instinctively went to put my arm around the passenger seat and it wasn't there!
