Morning all,
I've got a weep from what looks like a black plastic cap at the end if the cam on my 172 cup.
Roughly where the red circle is (not my engine, best photo I could find!)
I'm guessing that the cap is just a plastic cover, and there's a cam seal behind it?
Is it likely that's the culprit, or is it likely to be something else? If that's the case, are they easy enough to change without removing a cam?
In addition, my sump looks like it's weeping - is this a subframe out job, or can it be done relatively easily in situ? Is it gasketed, or is a Loctite 5910 job?
Cheers
Si
