All Titanium & Icebergs!

Im thinking to go to a Black colour now,either Jet Black Gloss or a metallic black,will have to have a look at work on samples and other wheels etc.

Will be a Black of some kind or Silver.

This is on the Evos,would always be Silver on my turinis.

Thought I’d post mine in here.

I got my 182 when I first joined CS in 2007. Loved the car in the early days but thanks to other hobbies and life getting in the way it sadly turned into a daily hack more than anything to be proud of.

Fast forward to today, and after almost three years of SORN, it’s back on the road and looking a lot better than it did.

Underneath it’s had a full service, full brake refresh and partial suspension refresh, including new dampers and springs and new bushes to come. Outside, it’s got a new upper grille and splitter along with a wheel refurb.

Here is how it was after three years off the road

And how it is after a Xmas Eve bath

Next will be a full belt service. I’m a bit out of touch with prices, but what is a ballpark cost including fitting for a full cambelt kit, dephaser, water pump, aux belt kit, cam seals, coolant and crankshaft pulley bolt. I’ve been quoted £510 for parts plus £450 labour from my most local specialist. Does that sound about right?

Silver will really stand out and look more 'track car'. I'm really into subtle clubsport style so have blacked out most things on the interior.

A little project I picked up in Dec, was looking v sorry for itself but getting there now.
Wheel refurb, rear light cluster, new cat and second hand Janspeed exhaust. Squib, new battery, fresh 2.0 badges, a good pair working pair of xenon’s and a pass wing, horn fixed, skirts removed and sills cleaned up, scuttle and wiper arms removed and cleaned. Fresh smaller plates, splitter and Clay bar/polish.
