Alloy Wheel Brush.. with a bit of 'Backbone' to it?!

  Skoda Octavia VRs
Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent Brush for cleaning my Alloys (which are bubbling like a Kettle left on the Gas by the way!) which I won't manage to completely DESTROY in a couple of weeks flat?..

I've tried a variety, ranging from cheap 'Asda' jobs.. to the Meguiars Ultra-Safe Wheel Spoke Brush.. I don't think I am going particularly rough.. but I seem to go through them more often than I go through my Toothbrushes!!..

Thanks for any help / suggestions in advance, and have a great weekend!

I picked up one from Tesco today. Don't know what it's like though as I have not tried it yet.

I've got a Silverline one from i4d and some like the third ones in the link from The Big Yin (pastry brushes are the easiest comparison lol).

Have you considered claying, sealing and/or waxing your wheels though? Would make cleaning and keeping them clean a lot easier.

They're Hoof Oil brushes and can be bought for less than £1 each when not sold as a "detailing brush".

The cheap hoff brushes on ebay just don't last.

IMHO the toughest wheel brushes out there are manufactured in Denmark by Vikan. The Vikan brushes just seem to last forever. Large range available also.

Another Vote for the Wonder Wheels Brush :)
Excelent for doing the Faces of Wheels but if you need an inbetween Brush then I'd got with Matt's suggestion of Vikan

I have the Flash wheel brush, looks similar to the Chemical Guy's Gerbil brush, but it fell apart after a few washes

Definitely using far too much pressure there fella. Mine used to look like that after about 6 months!

The flash ones are atrocious and break apart from the handle after one wash. Useless and a waste of £7 or what ever they are in Halfrauds.
