Alloy wheel refurb in the south....

Hey, just picked up some 182 cup alloys from Schweppy earlier 2day. Their fine, but could do with a refurb, but the only place i can find in the south that seems any good are 'the wheel specialists' in fareham. Didn't know if there was anywhere else in the southampton area that are good, or anyone that is good at spraying alloys themselves? cheers

i got quotes of £25 ish to powdercoat wheels.

this was in Woolston, ive got 3 spare alloys if needed

dont ask bout the 4th lol!

Havea go yourself, not hard and you may be surprised with your results. Get a few rattle cans from halfords to fo the job.

yea, i wanted to do them anthracite, but cant find anywhere that sells it. also i am the world most useless person at spraying (to impatient lol)

Halfords rover stone grey, did mine not so long ago and its a great colour.

that was down in Spitfire Quay somewhere, cant remember the company name.

yell.com will tell you

I think 2/3 of colour(spray can) then 3/4 of laquer (spray gun). One went a little odd and the paint didn't settle right so i need to redo it, but apart from that i was very happy with the result.

i mite give that a go then? i'm assuming it take some time tho....
btw was the company called A1 Powder Coatings in woolston?

i never had it done in the end, but i think they do a lot of ship parts, im sure they have examples of what they do.

i dont think you make a hash of powdercoating
