ALLOYS & WHEEL SPACERS!

Hey, I really want some new alloy wheels for my phase3 facelift Clio.
Also I want some wheel spacers. Maybe 20mm or 25mm.
Where's the best place to buy spacers, and also what alloys do you all recommend for my clio. Thanks.

DONT fit wheel spacers, esp. that thick if you dont want to have to change your wheel bearings every six months...

Wheel spacers will not ruin bearings every six months, I and many other members have run 20mm+ wheel spacers without any issues for several months at a time. As long as they're hubcentric you'll be fine.

b****cks. I ran 25mm hubcentric Spacers on the rear of my TT and 15mm on the front for over 20k miles and I didn't have one bearing let go.

I'll be going 15/20mm rear and 10/15 front on my 172.

Depending on wheels will depend on the size of spacers you need anyway.

In terms of wheels though... that's really a personal preference mate. I'm loving the Euro/JDM look at the moment and I know Rota's are hated but some 16x8 drifts (i think they're the drifts!) look superb imo and as you'll need pcd adaptors they'll act as spacers! Win Win!

I'm not too keen on many after market wheels atm tbh, some Keskin KT1's 16x7.5 and 16x9 rear would look cool.

As I say though, depends what you like! You might want 19" Chrome Spinners!

They will put more strain on the bearings, but most people who say spacers are s**t are more than happy fitting lower offset wheels!!! lol.

As long as you get proper hubcentric spacers and if you're going over 15mm get the spacers which bolt to the hubs and then the wheel bolts to the spacers you'll be fine... they're not cheap though!!!!!!

I've got Hubcentric FK automotive spacers on mine, both front and rear, had no problems. Great price from FK direct on their website as well.

tbh, if youre looking at new wheels,
why not just get wheels with the correct offset, then you wont need spacers??

i also ran 30mm on the front of my clio for a fair few months with no problem (car died after that, not bearings!)

It's not that I need spacers for the alloys, it's that i want a more bulky look to my car.

but if you go crazy on the offset of the wheels you bought,

the wheels will sit right out of the arch and you wont need spacers!

Most wheels you don't get much of a choice in offset though.
