alloys wheel + tyre size help...

I have my clio lowered with standard 15" alloys on and tyres that are 185/55/15


My friend is selling some 17" wheels with 205/40/17

Will the overall size of the wheel+tyre be much bigger than mine currently as I don't have much space in the arch!

His are wider for sure, why don't you try it to see how you like it though? My standard 16s catch on mine lowered on coilies tho

ive got some 205/40 17s on mine lowered 60mm and dosnt rub or catch think they are et 37. check the offset of the alloys ur getting.

Just a quick one if I put 17s on mine not lowerd, how much would the speedo be out by?
