Hi there, just curious, what would be the best sized alloys to put on a mark1 rt. cause obviously i dont want the wheels rubbing on full lock, and nothing that looks too big. would 16" be okay or stay with 15"?

Pretty sure 16's would look too big on a mk1 and cause problems. Most people as far as I can tell go for 14/15's. I'm no expert on mk1's but I think that's right.

I had 15" on mine lowered 60mm and it still rubbed occasionally, 16s will fit but will be tight

how far did you lower it, cause i havent yet lowered it. im gonna get the alloys and then lower it as it would look pretty silly lowered with steelies

Had 16s on my RT no probs at all, lowered about 60mm also
