Alpine HU fitting

Do these feed power from the ISO connector, or is there a seperate power connector... i seem to remember reading somewhere they have a direct connection to the battery?

direct to the battery (but that may only be on the 4x60w ones)

dont need to use the direct feeds unless your using the speaker out-puts!

its the 9835 im lookin at buying.

should be not so bad to fit - where the bonnet release cable goes through the bulkhead (goes through a biggish grommet) route it through there and then seal the wires us to make sure its water tight!

9835 power comes from the ISO block - unlike the old 9815 which had a separate lead.

Maybe its not so power hungry now because they added the DC/DC converter back in. Oh and its fused at 15 Amps instead of 20 like the 9815

Ive got a 9835, there is no separate battery power feed. Unless I messed the fitting. lol. Seems to work fine.
