Hi, anyone know how to turn alarm sensitivity down, ive got an aftermarket thatcham 1 and its doing my head in going off at temp changes

turn off the interior sensors?!

go back to where it was fitted and see what they can do,

what type of alarm is it? what sensor you on about, interior/exterior?

is it the perimeter sensor setting it off ?

what make/model alarm ? and who fitted it ?

dont know who fitted it as it was done by a pervious owner, renault dealer said air expanding in the car on hot/cold days sets the interior sensors off

ummmm the make is cellguard?? i think, sorry cant remember off my head coz it wasnt me who done it, but im sure thats the sitcker on the back of the car

is it a simple thing to change usually? where is the brains of the system usually put in the car?

could be anywhere mate, you could ring an alarm specialist to see if they could give some advice.

cheers , might hassle my dealer again and not get fobbed off with air pressure crap, i dont want it going off everytime the sun comes out, his advice was leaving the vents open to let the car breath!
