Alternative fuel for a 1.5dci

  Breaking mk2 DCI
Hi i'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on the subject of can the 1.5dci cope with anything other than diesel
i've searched the forums for answers but they only clear up what i already know which is old diesels will be fine with the right pump,

So assuming ive got a bosch pump fitted what can i put into my dci?

could i possibly stick 5L of engine oil/veg oil in with 35L pure white diesel?

or maybe a parrafin and kerosene mix?

any help would be much appreciated,

Lee

it should be able to with twin tanks burn cooking oil there are kits TUC approved out there but for sinlge tank use i'd not bother using any other oil than diesel injectors and punps are to precide and expensive and high pressure to play with and potentially damaging

Well it was worth asking as i myself produce alot of waste engine oil and thinners etc. and its a shame to waste it all never mind it being a pain to get rid of anyway, i didnt know if there was any easy solution to make it as compatible as older diesels, i did have a friend who had a nova diesel that would run on almost anything.

But yeah i was happy with this weekend going to france and back on 1 tank £46.54 and doing 596.2 miles,

you maybe able blend it with normal diesel to bulk it out if its well filtered with a higher ratio of diesel you may need to change the filters more ive not tried this myself this is what ive understood
