Went out in my 16v tonight for couple of hours no signs of any problems electrically ever, parks up and goes in the house comes back out 15 mins later, when i start the car the red no charge light stays on so i took the car apart and founs that the lower alternator mounting bolt has the nut missing on one end could this be the problem (loosing a earth), or could it be knackered, if so what would cause it to go straight away?
please help!
