Got me 172 about a month ago now...

I order my stuff whilst im at work...as I have no other time.

When my oil turned up and my boss asked how much was that, I told him and he said I was stupid etc...

Next up, i've just ordered a front set of Brembo discs and EBC pads...I get the same response.

One of the other office lads was telling me how he can get discs all round with pads, for his 'saxo vtr' for £60-70.

Just got me thinking, am I daft to spend this sort of money? Should i just get standard renault items etc???

Depends what you're gonna use the car for, I'd say go for standard discs and pads if just for road. Oil etc, I always use decent stuff.

I would say a lot of 1*2 stuff is overpriced, but is due to the demand or fact that it's still cheaper than Renault stuff, shop around a don't be lead by brand names all the time.

also a vtr isnt in the same class as a 1#2, so i'd exspect them to be cheaper.

Whatever the car £70 for 4 discs and 2 sets of pads will be shite ones. Tell them to get fucked tbh, its your money and you'll spend it as you wish.
