Am I missing a piece of drainage trim?

Haven't really noticed this before, but the drainage trim at the base of the windscreen on the driver's side I removed this weekend as it was clogged with leaves, soil and other debris.

There appears to be an equivalent area on the passenger side to have one too, but I have have nothing there. Should there be one to begin with?

I’m pretty certain that’s normal. Haven’t had a Clio in years but I’m sure that’s how it is.
