its not the full mount its just bushes, aparantly it will f**k the others and if urs is a 51 platr look at the drivers side top mount before u replace anything mines was gubbed and it had only done 20 odd k
cant tell from the pic but there does look like a bit of a gap at the bottom side, I replaced mine but im gonna have to do the gearbox mount aswell I think. anyone want a 172?
are you changine the dog bone due to the knocking/banging in 1st?
imo you are better adjusting the drivers side mount, slacken it off, 'pull' the engine as far forward as you can, then whilst the engine is still in this position, re-do up the mount, that should work
my car was fine untill it had the cambelt done last year. (drivers side moun needs to come off/apart) So got my mate who works for renault to adjust the drivers mount as said above, and press in the ktec bushes, i get NO knocking at all, and it gets raped pretty much daily
since I got my exhaust fitted when acceerating hard I get a vibrating/knocking noise from where the manifold is touching the subframe at least thats where I think it is!
