Might have to try Streamio and see how it compares to Syncler. I pay for RD already and then another £10-15 a year for Syncler support but will make the switch if there's no benefit. Does Streamio use Trakt?

I installed Sportsfire but it only gives me DAZN 1 or whatever it's called (plus foreign ones) all I want is to follow my non-league team once a week, which DAZN charge about £14 for now.

Sportsfire is a free app so has limitations.

I’ve ordered the Z11 Pro Max, it’s still not been delivered yet though 👎 should be a nice little upgrade in performance over the Fire Stick.

Will be interesting when the new low end amazon devices appear with linux. May really move people to proper android boxes again. Hurrah.

For those with firesticks, do you find issues with lagging/frame drop/out of sync audio when watching stuff?

It seems to have gotten worse lately and is beginning to wind me up a bit. I get they'll never be flawless, however.

Definitely not my internet either - 500/500. Same room as my router. Newest/best firestick.

Try clearing the cache on the Firestick, it will build up in the storage and cause issues. That’s why I moved away from using one tbh.

I’ve been using my Formuler box over the weekend via MyTVonline3 which I’ve never used before and it’s been faultless. I used to get the occasional buffer on the Firestick and just assumed that was normal for IPTV but the new box is incredible, not one buffer and I’ve had it on all bank holiday weekend.

I think I switched it over to VLC player recently, but it seemed to work well at the time iirc.

I havent bothered with another app since changing about 10 months ago. I had a great one, Sky style format, that then suddenly wasnt working - posted in the discord chat and basically got abused as it hadnt been updated in 3 years. Like I was meant to know, having only had the service for 2 months? Ill try and get onto the discord chat and see if anyone has any advice on 'better' players.

Buffer time? Talk to me as I havent fiddled with that.

My, erm, friend uses Interbot.

Either Deadpool or Interbot is recommended through his provider so not sure whether it'll work for you?

Im just saying, all these apps are just rebranded apps.
Most of them are xciptv or smarters.
Some are IBO and very rarely Purple Playlist Player.

Only good part on purple is, if they have a legit app not cracked/rebranded, they can be used on phones and tablets like iOS. . Expensive but its there for my lot.

sorry, I should have clarified, I am also speaking about my friends experience.....He keeps asking me which apps to use, because his app keeps lagging.

My only gripe is the lack of subtitles available - if the babies are asleep they were handy but I can’t get them to work reliably with the Fire TV Stick.

Eh what app? XC? Smarters? Are you exiting the app properly? As if you dont, it gets to 24 hours and requests epg. Really should be exiting the app properly so it does it when you launch it.

Something through Downloader - I can't remember, but I think you're right, it's just being turned off rather than shut down properly.

Make sure you press back back exit, depends on which app it is. But yes that will solve the issue.
