yup im on orange and have a wicked contract, but i dont think you can get them on PAYG in USA(my plan has failed), dont really want to go over to 02 either. I have just heard bad things about unlocking iphoness as you cant update them properly in the future

Well there isnt an official unlock for 3Gs yet i dont think but 2Gs will be fine.

3g's can be unlocked AFAIK, but i dont want a 2g phone tbh

2g from america will work fine, the 2g i had worked no problems what so ever.

3g will not work yet. The main problem you will have is that you cannot buy them in the US without a contract. There are some european countries you can get them from already unlocked without contract though, although you pay a lot for them.

yeah thats what i was looking at, my contract with orange is £37 for unlimited data + Texts, 1700minutes and free orange to orange calls, so i want to stick with it tbh
