amp help

to cut a long story short i got an amp and when i wired it up it just flashes protect all the time. and i can occasionally hear a little bit of noise through the amp. im certain its all wired up ok!

turn the gains right down

check the earth and power (earth is usually more important)

yeah gains are down and the wiring is from my existing setup which worked spot on so should be fine. got a good earth etc. good wires!

check that the power and earth are connected to the right connections

very easy to get the two mixed up without even realising (i.e. + connected to -, and vice-versa)

mine used to do that! itll most proberly be the earth make sure its on pure metal and not painted surface!
