Amp power cable through bulkhead

I am trying to get an Amp power lead through the bulkhead from the battery on my 02 Cup, but with zero success. Could anyone tell me how i go about this?

Ive found the grommet in the passenger footwell where the bonnet-release cable goes through but i cant find where it comes out in the engine bay. I tried to poke a cable through from the interior to see where it goes, but it just gets lost in some kind of "time-warp" thingy (probably the same place where all my fuel goes!! ).

Sorry if this has been covered before, but i couldnt find anything on the forums about this specifically when i searched.
