Amp Power Distribution

Hi guys have seen a way 4 distribution block for the power leads for amps, to save running loads of amp wires down the car. seems easy enough to install, just wondering about the fuse by the battery. would i need a large 1, if i was running 4 amps from the block, or just a normal 20amp??

you need one for whatever size power wire you are using

e.g 4 awg = 100A fuse max.
8 awg = 60A fuse max.

cheers dink, do i need thick cable from the battery to the distribution block, and then normal cable to the subs, or thick allround??
