amp wont turn on

i was driving like normal today and my amp just switched off as i recognized the sound went lower.

i now have no amp light..

I tested all wires and they are live.. all fuses are fine to..

what can be the problem

i have a kenwood kac-749s

could be over heating? weres the amp mounted? has the remote wire come out of the back of the headunit?

it was mounted to the floor of the boot

i would guess its the remote wire as thats what makes the amp switch on once the headunit comes on

in all serious, have you checked all the conections, at the amp while its turned on??

if its over heating, itll cut out and come back,

might just be knackered, are you loading the amp properly?? is it going into protect mode?

Just goto a local audio shop, very good ones are £20-£40

depends on what sub/subs and stuff your going to be running mate
