I use Optimum shampoo (from Detailed Obsession). Cracking shampoo and really good value for money too. Nice and sudsy, slick to use and leaves a great shine!

CG Glossworkz, not sure if it's better than the 901 but I've found it to be about the same.

Dont, its horse s**t. I have no idea why poeople rate this, it might be ok for sealants, but as far as a wax finish is concerned, it completely raped a fresh coat of carbon. And no i didnt over apply it.

901 is far better, although i dont like the dilution ratios and find it can be quite agressive sometimes. 902 is also the same stuff, just bigger.

Ive recently bought 2 more to try and add to the long list of shampoos i have owned, BTBM and Zymol Autowash. The Zymol is good but im not taken by it, the BTBM is fantastic, 2 caps per megs grit guard bucket is sufficient to provide a load of suds, and provide a well lubricated wash which does not effect the wax.

I would highly reccomend you get a small 250ml bottle of BTBM and try it out, i can honestly say that you will not be dissapointed.

Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss

a cap full is all you need for 15L of wash solution, crazy dilution ratio it will last ages and is a very very good shampoo

also, Dodo BTBM is ~ £1 per wash, sorry but thats poor value however you look at it for a shampoo

CG CW+G is about 20p a wash

OH PLEASE ;)

Still good s**t though, but i admit, its expensive. If you want bulk, go for shampoo plus its f**king awsome stuff. Ive not had any for about two years now, but i think once my 901 runs out, ill get some more for use on other people's cars and stick with BTBM on my own.

it says its 800:1

its £9 for 250ml, plus postage

im assuming were working with 15L of water, therefore needing ~20ml of product, so you can get 12 washes out of a bottle, normally with shampoos you need a little more than directed, especially in hard water areas, so im sticking with £1 a wash being fairly accurate

on the other hand, CG CW+G is 4000:1 dilute ratio, and its £7, plus postage, at a push its 10p a wash

do the math and consider your choices next time your buying
