AN hose assembly lube?

What type of oil or lube is used on the threads when making them? I cant really find specific stuff

WD-40 or silicone spray on the threads to stop them galling up.

Thanks, I wondered about wd. I saw someone use water in a couple of videos, thought thats not the best way to do it

WD-40 is a good lubricant for machining aluminium on a lathe and stuff. Fine for use on the threads, I've seen it used before.

When fitting pipes together use WD40 on the threads but if you are machining threads wax is good.

A little bit of hydraulic oil usually - stops you contaminating your hoses with silicone from WD40...

Thanks for your advice. Just finished the last fitting, the teflon line is the return from the rack and the blue is the high pressure, was not easy to do those fittings, there were about 40 threads to turn lol
With some heat sleeve as well
