Angel Eyes

So I know these aren't massively popular on this forum, but nevertheless I am seriously considering getting these.

Can anyone who has (or had) angel eyes installed post up pics so I can see how they look with just the sidelights on, and then main beam, and finally (but probably most importantly) what bulbs you have installed. This is so I can get an idea what I'd use in mine. Thanks!

Anyway... Dipped beam are H1 6000k Hid's and Main Beam is 55W White Ice Xenon. Tried 100W bulbs, however 55W performed better in distance test.

Yup very helpful, exactly what I was after, cheers! The sidelights look great, dipped beam might be a little too bright / blue for me though. Hmmm, still undecided what to do!

Ha yup lot of hate for them on here, but they do look really good on some cars. I particularly like the ones you've got on yours - would you mind telling me what bulbs you're running (and pics to go with it, if possible)?

Had them on my old 1.2, i had a HID kit in them witch are H1's, got them off eBay & when i put them into my 1.6 i added Diadem indicator bulbs.

Tbh pal of i was you i'd rather get the optic xenon lights off a 172/182 - More OEM and less 'chavvy' - Never the less still good headlight if thats your thing

Thats my debate - angel eyes are usually on massively chavved up cars (and mine's very much OEM) but there's something about them I do really like. I'll prolly continue thinking it over for the next few weeks, then decide between them or xenons (and hopefully I'll get a few more replies in the meantime!)

Get xenons mate, much easier to sell on to if you ever wanted to put the car to standard when you sell it. Good luck.
