Animations on TV

A rare question I know, but I would like to know as I am interested in flash etc.

What programming language/application do they use to create these affects?

for example the text on the DFS adverts 'Buy now, Pay 2007' and it flashes onto the screen, like you can in power point.

Macromedia flash is the most used.. there are other applications out there..

Type in Flash editing in google to find more.

Adobe after effects and premiere most likely.... Flash is for the web...

flash 8 is crap, you could try swift 3d as well as flash
