Annoying whistle noise??

My 172 has created a whistle thought it was to do with exhaust as gets louder when revved etc but cant seem to find any leaks etc
Could it be belt? Does sound like drivers side

i have that but its my mirror! it did it on the car i test drove before i brought it, when u wiggle it, it shuts up for 10 mins then starts again

My 182 has a whistling noise at around 30 because there is a gap on the bottom side of the drivers door mirror. It is where another sensor is supposed to go but because of the gap it creates a whistling noise

I get that too! always thought it was the mirror or door trim.... P**ses me off some days but you get used to it. try patching over parts with light tape and see if the noise goes away? trial and error i guess. Think my old clio 1.2 did it too....
