Another Engine mount prob...

On my ph2 172 Had yellow polybushes fitted in my dogbone mount tday - Got mad exhaust tapping noises now which wasnt there before - Any ideas which mount to change next?

hmm are the yellow bushes incorrect for the ph2 172?

the purple ones you should have got.. but these yellow ones should not get you these noises either

Does it really matter having the yellow ones? Vibration is horendous

I'm pretty sure there fir the non twisted type dogbone, have a look at my guide in the guides section, do they look the same as my purple ones and were they fitted the same way?

i got the yellow ones by accident and they didnt even fit properly in the dogbone. Purple for a Ph2. isnt it a heat shield loose or something? maybe been knocked or moved when these have been fitted?

Hmm, When you say they didnt fit, Was it visible?...Mine are on atm gt a garage to fit and supply them!

yeah it was VERY visible! they arent the correct width for the dogbone and are 2 or 3mm larger than it in diameter. they would have to have modded them to get them to fit! get the purple ones! they are for the ph2 1*2 (twisted one iirc)
