How much to fit a new resistor pack? any info would be great because its apparently theonly bad point to the car im going to look at.

Possibly related to the coolant issue? I'd fix that first (or if you take it somewhere reputable they can take a look at the same time and diagnose it probably instantly).

Resistor pack is under scuttle panel, drivers side. Scuttle panel is the bit where your wipers are, the plastic panel.

A guy on eBay fixes them for about £25 and it's a next day service.. Gets very good reviews
