Impressive times for the 200.

Strange that the 182 cup was slighty quicker then the trophy though.

Loved my Trophy, but did struggle putting the power down compared to the 182 due to the extra stiffness. Standard ph2 172, best looking version though! And yours is much improved

Thats out of date fella. When they changed the configuration of the circuit evo took a stack of cars over. Dry and hot day, drove the 197cup straight after the Trophy. The Trophy was something ridiculous like 0.2s quicker. The 200 ruins them both, I can't wait to have a drive.

Bit like Lewis on TG in the conditions he had all down to driver.

They won't listen! Even Mr Trophy (ie, me) is admitting that, at the moment, it appears the 200 is a big step up from the Trophy. I'm pretty sure the drive will confirm this.

Exactly. It's like saying a basic 3 series with cloth interior is the runt of the range. Still a great car, but the comment holds true.
It looks hideous, but that wouldn't put me off.

I only got to rag round a parade area, so I didn't get out of second gear. lol

With both damper and spring rates up considerably over the 197 Cup, it corners flat, very flat. I'd imagine it's more uncomfortable on the road than my Trophy was though. People often comment at how harsh the ride in the Cup is and that's not as stiff as the Trophy was!!

I'll get one if I can. lol Same spec as I already have of course.

Fair enough, the only person that needs to enjoy your car is you. But, every neutral review I've read when they've gone head to head has come out in the Trophy's favour. I don't understand the big issue that people have with other people's opinion of a car?
