Any decent roads for a blast in Northumberland?

Hi gus, first post up here but was wondering whether anyone knew of any decent driving roads in Norhtumberland, prefereably not a police haunt for some heavy footed driving B roads in Stocksfield and Bywell is getting boring now :rasp:

Try the A68 between Corbridge and A696 which is also quite good when it's quiet

Just been on a trip up to edinburgh tonight but had gf and her friends going to do it sometime though, was a great road. Now I know why so many bikers go along there to Rothbury and Kielder!

Head over to banard castle then through mickleton onto alston and follow signs to penrith hartside is about 4 miles past alston pretty good roads.
