i bought mine last week and its originally from ireland, the plate on it is GAZ**** when i was buying it, i thought it was a private plate and didnt click on until i got my hpi check through,the guy bought it from a garage in preston,it was them who brought it over here,and now its ended up in scotland,prob makes it that wee bit more rare! an irish willy,lol

doesnt it make your insurance a lot higher with it being imported from ireland.

I owned a fiesta si 1.4 and paid sh*t loads more as it was also an irish car originaly. Had to sell it as it equilled out to me paying the same insurance as a group 11 car!!

dont think it affected my insurance at all,they never mentioned anything anyway,im 22 with no no cliams,dr10 on license and im 1096 tpft should go down a bit in june as i wont have to declare my dr10 (reached 5 years)

At least your wise enough to have learnt! I knew a bloke in my town who got done 3 times!!!!!!!!! His last one was when he stole a bus to give everyone a lift home. He only got stopped because the local police new the bus didnt run at night!!!!

Im Irish but Ive got a Luxembourgisch Willy! Now they have to be pretty rare as there are only about 400,000 people here.

Ive only seen maybe about 6 others! Or am I seeing the same one each time?

And the big new here is that they are having to add a digit to the number plates due to the increased number of cars on the road. Two letters and four numbers from June I believe!
