Any1 need oil

Think Halfords are doing their synthetic for 15 quid (5 litres) this week. Worth stocking up. Even if you get oil changes done with other synthetic makes, would have thought it would be ideal for topping up as you can mix different makes of sythetic oil (cant you?)

local reno garage were doing the elf fully synthetic for 11 pound something!!! for 5L

Im going to National Tyres - get it changed for Semi-Synth QXR oil (which I think Renault recommend or something?).

£15, all in - including new filter, plug, oil, full change..

Yeah I normally use National Tyres, but quite a few people use fully synthetic and the prices people charge for those changes is loads. But £15 oil and £5 filter make sit worth doing yourself (for synthetic).

PS i HIGHLY recommend using GOOD OIL NOT CHEAP CRAP!!!!!! ....you maybe saving a couple of quid but your not doing the car any good..

Is Halfords cheap crap?

Got some Mobil 1 motorsport but only using that when engine gets rebuilt soon. Always got mine done at National Tyres with Duckhams QXR semi synthetic.

Duckhams is the recommended oil in the Haynes manual.

May go to national tyres 2morrow, as im going on a massive road trip this weekend early, and i havent got 5mins to have a crap!

is that standard price or an offer? and do u know what make oil they use???

Use a voucher out the tabloid papers, sun etc to get it at that price. Probably in todays as there is a motors section.

Semi Synthetic Duckhams QXR is 15 quid inc filter and labour. Non synthetic a tenner. Only problem is they dont always have your filter so have to get it. Might be best phoning first. Think the Megane also uses same filter as last time I got mine done a megane owner went on same day and used the filter they had got for me.

Ive got vauxhall fully synthetic in my Valver, the difference it has made to the running was mazin!

Would recommend it to everybody

Got the trade club card so makes it really cheap.
